BENJAMIN HOWDESHELL
Benjamin Howdeshell is a first-generation Filipino-American filmmaker known for bold, emotionally charged storytelling across genre. His work combines psychological intensity with striking visual precision, often exploring the boundaries between fear, identity, and transformation. He gained recognition with Project: S.E.R.A., a streaming series produced by 20th Century Fox and IGN, and Withorwithout, a music video/short film hybrid starring Milla Jovovich.
Most recently, he directed Alien: Harvest, one of six official shorts commissioned by 20th Century Fox to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s Alien.
With SHADOW, Howdeshell brings his signature tension, humanity, and genre mastery to a haunting story of internal collapse and inherited darkness.
MIKE DOYLE
Mike Doyle is a Southern California-born screenwriter and narrative designer known for grounded, character-driven storytelling with a dark emotional edge. His work spans film, television, and interactive media, often exploring the intersection of tension, transformation, and psychological unraveling. He co-wrote the psychological short WITHORWITHOUT, starring Milla Jovovich, and penned the sci-fi thriller THE FEED, currently in development.
With a background that includes early experience at Cinergi and Lightmotive, Mike brings a deep understanding of story structure, industry rhythm, and world-building. In addition to traditional screenwriting, he designs narrative systems for games and interactive media, crafting branching dialogue, nonlinear arcs, and immersive lore.
Across every format, his focus remains consistent: emotionally resonant stories that grip, reveal, and disturb in equal measure.
TARANEH GOLOZAR
Taraneh Golozar is an Iranian-American producer and visual storyteller whose work bridges emotional depth with visual innovation. With a background in visual effects, she has contributed to large-scale productions such as Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon and produced award-winning features like Radio Dreams. Her dual fluency in narrative storytelling and post-production infrastructure makes her uniquely equipped to manage elevated genre films with both precision and scale.
Her experience spans independent and studio-level systems, giving her a clear understanding of audience, execution, and marketplace strategy.
With SHADOW, she joins director Benjamin Howdeshell to form a proven, execution-ready team combining creative ambition with the discipline to bring elevated horror to market with confidence and control.
